purchased item from abroad

i bought a clipper for my dog well over 2 months ago,they are , according to the seller , in customs and when they clear they will go to the royal mail..every time i check it  says its on its way from Germany but that was a month ago.i asked the sellers whats happening they say that is only showing the last time it was scanned and its at the customs and soon as it clears it will be on its way,if i close the case and it never arrives i will not be able to re open it... i understand with coronavirus things are held up ..

You are too late to close that case now if it's been a 2 month long wait,  see if the escalation option is there, if not you've left it too long to claim with eBay.

Yes,  the Covid crisis is holding many items up,  but 2 months is enough time to wait.

Claim now with Paypal.  Log into your Paypal account,  on the left select Resolve a Problem,  open a case for item not received,  and escalate after 2 days and before 20 for a refund.

I totally agree,i have escalated it,i was putting it off as i thought i dont want to be a pain but its a set of clippers costing well over 100 pounds and a lot of money to us 😞 when i looked up the tracking number it says the item is in Germany and has not moved since,they say thats the last time it was scanned...i will leave it up to ebay now to hopefully help but many many thanks for all of your help 😉 stay safe and well x

After you escalate you should get a message from eBay to say that they have stepped in and refunded you, then refund will go back to original payment source. Paypal funds payment? Back to Paypal fairly swiftly.

Debit card payment? Back to your bank account within 7 days.

Credit card payment , back to your card account within 30 days. @jackson5070

i am increasingly worried that i wasnt receiving it,im a low paid key worker and my partner is furloughed so it is a lot of money and my poor woollie doodle now looks like a black sheep lol
im sure ebay will get it sorted for me 🙂 i do value your responses so a big hug 🙂
