What a joke ebay are.
I purchase something 8 days ago the money leaves PayPal and i assume all is well and goods will arrive soon.
Today i look and it still says payment pending, so after a 1.5 hours call with three different agents and someone who claimed to be a senior manager!!
They tell me i have to open a case and will get a refund after 3 days AFTER i escalate the case.
She was adamant that the money was with PayPal and after much argument and me telling her how to do her job she agreed she was lying and the money is actually with their payment processing people Adyen NV.
So i ask this totally useless and incompetent "senior manager" that if the seller has not had my money, as apparently there is some issue with his managed payments processing" how can i expect him to refund me something he has not had. The answer is like most things from ebay basically mmm and rrrr
So they ebay take a customer’s money hold on to it for days, during which time they earn interest on it, then never bother telling the buyer that the payment is pending due to a problem with EBAY not the buyer.
Then tell the buyer to open a dispute for an item he has not received as they the middlemen at ebay have not sent the payment to the seller.
I explained to the incompetent useless "senior" manager that i have no control over the process after the money leaves my account. Once again all i got was nonsense and mum and err.
We were told that if you don’t opt for managed payments then the ability to sell will be withdrawn obviously one rule for one and one for another!
What a joke!
