problems with Ebay App

I have noticed a problem with the latest version of the Ebay App. Version 5.22.0 on an Iphone 6

Having sold some items, I like to contact the buyer to say thank you, and let them know that the irems will be posted. However on the latest version of the App, if I go to Sold Items and choose the Contact Buyer option, my own ebay ID comes up in the "to" box. If I try to send a message, an error is returned saying "I am not allowed to send messages to myself"

I have tried deleting and reinstalling the app, but I thnk this is a bug !

Any comments, or similar issues noticed

Ditch the app and use a PC, it's the latest ebay glitch

Ebay actually prefer you not to communicate with buyers, they're sent an email when you mark as despatched so they'll know its on its way, and you can thank them via feedback, once they've received the item and have left you good feedback (but the whole feedback issue is another debate)....

Thank you. Not really helpful as I use the app a lot more that a PC. I would prefer the app to be fixed.

Regarding feedback I have stopped leaving it as it now takes so long to do.

Every time ebay updates the app, it gets worse.
Most questions here are related to the app.
