hi does ebay have any rules about postal hike charges i purchased something for 1.50...postage was 3.50. when arrived postage stated 1.32...the seller has made more money from the postage than what the actual item cost was...i expect to pay extra on top for packaging and time etc but..3.50 for 1.32 is a bit much

No, ebay have no rules over what sellers can charge for p+p.

Most sellers charge stamp price, your seller appears to have charged small parcel rate and when they actually posted the package it was accepted as large letter.

You could ask the seller for a refund of the difference but they don't have to agree.
