postage fraud

member sold item with £4 postage advertised but invoice was billed at £20 for large letter. when i sent 2 requests for clarification both ignored so i sent 3rd message saying if i got no answer i would leave negative feedback seller tried to convince me he was tying to reduce postage to £2 but put £20 by mistake and then refused to sell item to me as he didnt like my attitude. is it me or did he really try to rob me and hope i didnt notice and just paid?

Either explanation is possible.

If he was trying to reduce it to £2 then you should of asked him nicely to send another invoice

When you recieved the first invoice was it from ebay informing you you had won the item?

If so then that should of shown the £4 post and all you had to do was to pay via the paypal link.

If the seller did not send after that then you open a not recieved dispute

You are not allowed to threaten sellers with bad feedback and the seller could report you

You can understand them not wanting to sell to you
