payment pending

Hello,

I've just bought a book and on Ebay and was asked to pay via PayPal as usual, which I did. As the book was selling in U.K.  where I live, I was surprised to see that delivery might take up to three weeks or so. Then when I checked my purchase history I noticed the term " Payment Pending." What does this mean please ? The payment went through okay, so why is there any delay when I have money to pay for the book ?

Also has Ebay permanently abandoned its CALL BACK  service. It was so much easier to speak with somebody on the phone and get any problems sorted quickly.

If you look at the sellers profile you should see where there registered and if not in the UK then that could be why the book may take longer to deliver,or it could also be the seller is away.

The paypal pending is because ebay now manage buyer payments and the payment go through them instead of paypal,and it should change to complete quite quickly.
