payment on hold

2 payments were put on hold, first one because buyer says it was not received and so I sent replacement items but still the Case remains open with my payment on hold.  No communication from Buyer.   Second one, was a buyer who opened a Case on the 6th July for item not received and I responded to let him know his purchases were sent on 5th July 2021.     How stupid is that.  But, the payment is still on hold.   How can I find out when these payments on hold will be released by Ebay.

In both of these it is up to the buyer to close the cases.

The second one, if you were posting within your time frame, I am surprised that the buyer could open a Not Received case so soon. Acasein theory cannot be opened until past the delivery date. Only by refunding could you close the case, otherwise TRACKED DELIVERY marked on the item in your SALES, case would close when it showed as delivered.

You need to be careful as once case is opened, if you don't refund within the the time given by ebay they may refund. Rather unfair in the circumstances with a rather awkward buyer, but if ebay refund you do not get heselling fee refunded an do get a Defect. 

The Hold will only end when cases are closed or run out of time.
