I have an important question about Item, which was sent to the buyer. The parcel arrived on time, she was not at home and the parcel remained at the post office for 2 weeks. The buyer for some reason did not pick up her parcel. The parcel was returned to me. I immediately informed the buyer about this. She is ready to pay for the re-shipment, but we don't know how to do it technically through ebay. How can the buyer pay for the re-shipment via eBay?
You won't be able to send an eBay invice for this, you're left with two options here:-
1. Ask your buyer for their email address, then log into PayPal and send them a Money Request for the additional postage cost. Bear in mind that you'll pay PayPal fees of 30p and 2.9% to receive that payment. The buyer doesn't need a PayPal account to pay the PayPal Money Request, they can pay with a debit or credit card.
2. Let your buyer have your PayPal payment email address and they can send you the postage money. If they send it as a friends & Family payment there'll be no fee for you to receive it. They do need a PayPal account in order to do this though.
