How do I pay the 10% ebay selling fee when the buyer pays cash for the item when they collect it from me?

Hi

When you sell on item on Ebay......your Ebay fees for the sale are added to your monthly invoice...... as soon as the listing ends.

To check out your Ebay fees go to your home my Ebay page and look under the Account tab to see exactly what fees are outstanding etc etc.  You can, if you wish make a one off payment.

If you sell an item cash on collection.....once the Buyer has called...paid and left happy with the item, you go to More Actions to the right of your sold item.    This is a drop down bar where you can mark the item as payment received and also despatched.

As soon as  your buyer pressed that Buy it Now item,  that sent the fees immediately to eBay.

You just need to mark it as  ' dispatched',  after the buyer pays you cash.  This is eBay speak for a collected item.  So on your eBay homepage go to More Actions >> Mark as Dispatched,  there  mark as paid too.

Ebay charge the final value fees as soon as the buyer buys the item and invoice you once each month for fees

You can check your fees by going to the Account tab on your My ebay page then summary then fees

When they paid you mark it as Paid and Dispatched to the right of the item under More actions

Don't worry, eBay will claim their fees!

When you registered as a seller you were required to specify a debit or credit card for payment of your fees etc. EBay will take their money form this.
