Suggest you google packlink. As they do not deliver anything I doubt very much that you can drop off, they only act as an unnecessary Middle man and just farm delivery out to Couriers such as hermes.

The more links in the delivery chain the more likelyhood of something going wrong.

It is not a brilliant option!  Always be sure you or someone for you,  can collect the item within 7 days.  That is the time given for you to pick the item from your designated store,   it may not be a local shop ,  but a big store such as Argos in your nearest town.  Many stores are now optin out of this scheme too,  because of the multittude of problems it causes.

If not picked up within that timescale,  the store can dispose of it as they wish,  and no refund to you is then due.

It is not you that finds it if you are the buyer.

When you buy the item the options of which shop you can collect from comes up.

It does not mean that their will always be a local shop

In fact it is not a good idea as many have lost money and their items as there are many problems.

Better to see if a relative friend or neighbout would accept it for you if you can not be there yourself
