no refund for returned item

so ebay is useless. they have no contact option and their "links" just go round in a circle.

 

summary..............

 

I bought item

item didn't correspond to description

I returned item

no refund received so far after 2 weeks

item has since been removed by ebay, so cannot leave feedback (that's an awesome little website BUG)

 

I'm pretty sure the seller has received my returned items, and relisted them to make twice the profit

 

seller has changed their ebay handle since I bought the item (they are now "maxxibb") - so thats "interesting"...

 

no way of contacting ebay. no response from seller.

there are absolutely no links on ebay, anywhere, to take any action.

 

current ebay return status:

Status: You requested a return and the seller should respond soon.

 

well, they haven't. and there are absolutely no links for me to escalate this with ebay.

Just to check, have you opened a Return case in the Resolution Centre?

Did you send the item back with tracked postage?


Did you enter the tracking into the case details?


If you have done all that, the option to escalate the case will appear eight full days after you opened the case, timed to the minute.


Escalate the case to eBay on day eight/nine if you have not been refunded in the meantime.

 

eBay will force a refund if necessary.

 

Tracking showing attempted delivery is enough to force a refund.
