item hasn't arrived yet

Buyer purchased an item but has not arrived yet. Royal Mail says its not classed as lost until 10 working days after it was due to arrive. It has only been 5 working days and he is demanding refund without waiting the full 10 days to see if it will turn up. I alraedy said he could send it back for refund when it arrives but not happy to work with me on the facts.

Has anyone had this happen to them ?

When buyer opens case, you have 8 days to refund them before ebay step in.

They don't have to wait for you to claim from RM.

You should always add tracking/reference number to ebay when marking as posted.

Have you checked RM website to see if item was delivered? If it was, then you don't have to refund.
