i recently sold a graphics card for £270 and im being charged £39.88 hwich seems way too much. It breaks down to 26.99 ebay invoice and 12.89 paypal 'fee' and thats without the £6.50 postage i had to pay! 46.38 in total just to sell surely that cant be right?
any help would be welcome
thanks
Why don't you look at the Invoice for the breakdown of fees. If you don't know how when you get an invoice it says "View Invoice". Top right side click Printer Friendly then scroll down the page.
It might pay to then read FEES, shortcut on left side of pages.
Your Invoice is for all your Sales for the last month. You aren't allowed to Sell Download Codes on here!
You pay final value fees of 10% on the end price of your listing + the postage
Ebay charge the fees to your account as soon as the item is sold and invoice once a month for payment
To check your fees go to the account tab on your MY ebay page then Summary then Fees

Ebay and paypal are different companies and you pay 3.4 %+ 20p to paypal when your buyer pays
that is correct,
ebay charge 10% of the total received - item price plus P&P
paypal charge 3.4% plus 20p (3.9% for overseas sales) of the total received - item price plus P&P
