What error message are you getting if any ??

I have had no issues with messaging at all today

i can send messages through ebay without issue, however i am not receiving them through ebay i have to press reply on my email server which then directs me to my ebay account messenger, and i have to proceed in that way to send a message, but with this there is no message content as though the message is being blocked from my folder, as i can reply, it has to be there but not showing, it is very strange

I sent a message 20 minutes ago and it was working fine then.

strange then because i am answering questions through my email link forcing the ebay messages to open with no content showing of their questions

i seem to be able to send them, but i do not receive them to my ebay messages

Could it be that you have tried to exchange any contact details with another member?.

Ebay are taking strong steps to stop off ebay sales

If you have tried to exchange any contact details with another member before buying the item then ebay will restrict or suspend you.

They sent an email to all members on 22^nd Sept Changes to the user agreement

It will be in your ebay Messages tab on your My ebay for you to read

No one is throwing any accusations so not an idiotic reply.

At the moment this is the most usual reason for messages not getting through or being restricted

I was asking you nicely if this could be the reason
If it is not then do as the other respondant says and phone ebay and ask them
