hi,

i recieved an invoice because i had sold an item but the buyer and i decided to not go through with the deal so i ended up relisting my item so how do i not get charged for the money i owe for the sale that didnt go through ?

The  moment an item is won, is when Ebay charge you a selling fee.  They do not know and will not know you have not received payment, so the fee has gone through.

T o inform Ebay of a non payment on an item you either have to open a Non Payment dispute in the Resolution Centre, or as it seems to be in your case you and your buyer agreed not to go through with the sale, so you should send them a cancellation request for them to accept.  Then you will get your FVF back
