how do i receive payment for goods sold if i don't want to add my bank account details

I'm new to selling on ebay and noticed that Ebay ask for my bank account details but I don't want to register those on Ebay.  Can I sell items by asking buyers to pay cash on collection or do a bank transfer?  Thanks.

You cannot Sell per se if you don't Sign Up and provide your Bank Details. You could open a New Current Account just for your Ebay Payments. 

Enter Managed Payments into Help and Contact at the very top or foot of the Page.

If you do not sign up for managed payments you cannot sell.

Looking at your completed items it shows you are on Managed Payments and the ONLY methods of payment accepted.

If you have not provided Bank Details you are never going to get paid.

BANK TRANSFER - The favourite method of payment by Scammers, cannot be reversed and seller can keep the moey without delivering anything.

You Mention Bank Transfer to a Buyer and they should have nothing more to do with you. If you would be happy to give out your Bank Details to anyone who bought from you, why ever don't you want to give details to Ebay, at least that is far safer than giving to complete strangers.
