how do i get unfair negative feedback removed.

i was left negative feedback five days after the wrong item was posted contacted buyer to return the item to sort it out . i was left unfair feedback  then a day later he wanted a refund which was promptly done. how can negative  feedback be left when the buyer was refunded with in five days this cant be fair .

I'm afraid it doesn't have to be fair. This is eBay.

Buyers can be as mean spirited as they want.  EBay won't remove it as it doesn't contain profanity or break any rules.

All you can do is leave a calm response.  Just say what you've said to us: that you made a mistake but refunded them promptly. This will go a long way to reassure your buyers. Try to resist the temptation to sound angry - remember that you're just explaining what happened to your future buyers. Don't use it to argue with this self-righteous buyer who's obviously never made a mistake himself!
