Ebay are moving to managed payments for sellers on ebay,and that does require you updating certain account details,HOWEVER,before you do anything read up here,Recognising phishing phone calls and emails | eBay

Did it come through eBay Messages?  Is it asking  you for your bank details?  eBay is Moving all sellers over to Managed Payments. 

No Paypal involvement,  therefore you need to norify eBay of the  current or business account you need payouts from sales to be received into.
