Private sellers get 20 free listings per month then, unless you've been offered some free listings durig a promotion, you'll be charged. Some listing features are chargeable too.
As well as any applicable listing fees, eBay take a final value fee (10% of the item price plus another 10% of your postage price), and PayPal charge you 20p plus 3.4% (3.9% for international transactions) to receive any payment.
The PayPal fee is taken as soon as you receive payment.
The eBay fee is charged for at a later date.
