ebay sent order to the wrong address

Ebay sent my order to the wrong address according to the seller as he used Ebay local depot. My item should have arrived in France, not in the UK

Hermes confirmed delivery of my item, but to the wrong address.I contacted the seller , but he keep telling me that he isn't responsible for the delivery as he used ebay local depot

Your explanation isn't very clear, but this was presumably an eBay global shipping delivery?

If so, your seller is correct that he is not responsible for the international delivery, only for sending the item to eBay's reshipping hub in the UK. This doesn't affect your rights as the buyer: if your item isn't delivered, you can still open a case under eBay's money back guarantee in the useful way. The only difference is that eBay, not the seller, will be responsible for refunding you. (This probably means that it will take longer. EBay is very quick to make sellers refund buyers, not always so quick to refund them themselves!)

So how do I use the money back guaranty, please?

The item have until the 1st of July to arrive, so I cannot open a case
despite knowing that it has been delivered to the wrong address.
I can't either call an advisor as no numbers are given to explain the
problem.

Do I have to wait 30 days from the purchased date then? Or 30 days from the
last date due of the delivery?

I purchased the item on the 12/06/21.

It's not been delivered to the wrong address,the UK address in Lichfield is eBays shipping depot it will be sent on to you in France from there by eBays shipping partner Pitney Bowes.

Forget to say if it doesn't arrive by 1 day after the estimated delivery date that is when you can open a case,you have 30 days from this estimated date to open a case.

I think Hermes confused me as they confirmed the delivery of the items, but
mentioning that it was a transit. The seller didn't explain this either.

I should have guess it was the transit between the depot from the seller
drop off to the Ebay depot for international shipping.
It does make sense now.
I'm so sorry for the misunderstanding.
