eBay removed my item as offensive Robertson golly band

eBay removed my item to sell as offensive Robertson golly band   I accept this policy but   5 days ago extactly the same item was sold on eBay . I actually copied the heading to  make sure it was not offensive so  why was my advert removed

Because the sale of Robertson gollies is prohibited. I can't think why you didn't check eBay's policy on this before even thinking of listng an item which is so offensive to some people.

Why do sellers keep asking why their item was removed, but not others? If you're stopped for speeding, would you say that you thought it was alright because you had seen other peple speeding? EBay can't check every one of the millions of items listed every day. Someone reported your lisitng. The other seller was lucky, and wasn't reported.

A few years back Ebay banned the Robinson Golly items from being sold on their site.  if some are listed then as yet they have not been noticed or reported.
