Hi all,
Allowing sellers to send you their own return labels will lead to the downfall of eBay.
I just returned an item a week ago. The shop was one of those not too nice corner shops where dodgy services like Myhermes allowed to operate.
A week later I have noticed that the status of the return was still not dispatched and there was no tracking available either.
I went to the parcel shop and tried to contact the buyer and spent a week(!!!) trying to contact Myhermes but without tracking number I could not even got throug to anyone.
The parcel shop does not want to help.
The seller did not help. Asked eBay to step in and as there was no tracking available they have closed the case to his favour and I have lost money and also my trust in eBay after 8 years of buying-selling.
I am not sure if the parcel shop did not scann it properly or if the seller purposfully sent me a used label but I have done everything every buyer should do when they return items and still I am the one loosing money, time, trust and patience.
eBay is not the safe site we once knew!
Be carefull everyone! This could easily happen to you!
