constant change for the worse!

Infernal eBay! Had a resolution request from a buyer whose item had got lost in the postal system. Never has been a problem refunding in the past until today. Request from a buyer in excellent English, the remainer of the form in German which refused translation. Requests from all over the world have always arrived in English hitherto. This seems to coincide with this new innovation that allegedly translates, which they (eBay) are trying to force onto sellers (and which has appalling reviews on the net). Is anyone else having similar grief?
