ok lets start with say you buy something thats not good u ask for replace item ..but you offered to buy better console HD he offered me a second hand machine £70 that he wall selling for £74.99 but wanted to do the sale via bank transfer not ebay or he will up the price second i was buying a multi cart also ever drive cart tried to charge me extra £5 on top if the normal price !! so he was adding more cash not less when agreed ..i have his messages and bank details as proof yes i called him con man then he called me nasty words i understand that ..like Benefit Fraud and sending me letters saying hes going to report me to council then he sent me message saying b..u...m hole ...so understand why i called him con man !! i can post everything ...if u wish !!

If item is faulty, you open ebay case, seller provides returns label, you post back for full refund. It's quite simple, no replacement, no need to contact seller direct.

Slander is not actionable per se as opposed to libel.   If you were [even] libelled on here how could that possibly be actionable as very few will know the true identity of scouseman06 or arkwebus for that matter!

If you have very deep pockets you may seek redress.  Carter Ruch are very good [if costly perhaps]

See a solicitor and your witness who heard the slander.

however, think before you act - if you are referring to the member you named and called a "con man" they have a strong case.

If you keep at eBay they just might have a look at your listing and registration.

ebay won't do anything

The law on slander says that you have to prove that you have suffered financial loss as a result of the slander. ... If someone has slandered you, you can claim damages and an apology from them.

Ebay probably wont do anything

If you want to sue for slander then you would have to do it by taking action yourself

It would help if you told us the problem
