complete savings

hi ladies and gents i am quite annoyed at a company whether associated with e bay or not called complete savings. i made a purchase on ebay and an offer of cash back was made buy this company. i then had to give details(bank) and thought that they would credit the saving to my account. i feel misguided as the bank details i gave was to sign up for membership which had a monthly subscription that was never mentioned in the previous promotional material. be very careful in dealing with these companies/offers and to be honest i am more than dissappointed with ebay for allowing this to happen.

There are numerous sites which offer discounts on purchases. This benefit doesn't come free, and many people join without understanding that they've given the company payment authority to take a monthly membership fee.

If you don't want to continue your membership, you have to formally cancel it. They should then stop taking this monthly fee. If they don't, you would need to take advice from your bank.

You can see this company's cancellation form here: https://s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/wlscripting/CMS/25200/prod/pdf/TandC_1802_CF.pdf

It's nothing to do with ebay.
