cancelling an order

What do I do when a seller wont cancel an order that I genuinely dont want? He is being an absolute idiot, and saying its my job to cancel it, when it is infact his.

Hi.    So you bid on an item that you genuinely dont want?

Seller lists....you bid....you win...you pay and then seller posts.  Thats the way Ebay works.

Unless its a Business seller a private seller does not have to cancel the order.

What the seller should do is open a non payment case against you and then if you still dont pay after 4 days close it to get their Ebay fees back and you get a strike on your account for non payment.
