cancelling a bid

Why is it that on the ebay app iv been able to click on help/ contact and I'm able to click on one that says cancel bid.!! Now suddenly the option isn't showing up in the list and it's always been there before, now to cancel bids I'd have to write down the item # then go onto the eBay classic site, then enter this # to cancel my bid why does eBay keep changing things. It's a bleeding pain for me. And a lot of going here n there just to cancel a bid, God

There have been various difficulties with the Ebay Apps, so now there is a good new board open in The Discussion Boards, 'Ebay Mobile Apps'.  Pop over there and post your question, hopefully someone will come along and help you.
