Can't get the new app on my iPad anyone else having this problem so can't get into my account at all on old one have tried to update won't let m so tried to do new app and that won't work either?????

There is a steady stream of reports of various errors,including yours with the ebay app,so best ditch it and use a browser or Laptop/Pc.

Ebay are aware of the issues.
