buying a used sewing machine from USA

 HI,  I HAVE PURCHASED A USED SEWING MACHINE FROM THE  USA AND AM NOW CONCERNED ABOUT IT NOT HAVING A CE MARK AND ARE THERE ANY CHARGES ON USED GOODS  REGARDS JIM

USA doesn't use CE Marking so that wont need to be there.

As for extra charges you will have VAT to pay,there may also be a charge for duty and carrier transaction fees (£8-20).

If the machine is under £135 you will be charged by eBay at checkout if over this you will generally be invoiced  prior to delivery.

One more thing is the voltage may only be 110 which is no use in UK
