buyers email

i have to make a claim from royal mail because they lost the package . ebay in their wise wisdom hide the buyers email address after 14 days and also block messages asking for this information . royal mail will not let me submit the form without the buyers email address because i have to wait about 5 weeks before i can submit a claim so can no longer see the email . 

on a seperate note does anyone else have a problem contacting buyers via messages on android . i click the reply to buyer or potential buyer and it does not show the reply page , this is very frustrating . as there seems no way to reply unless im on a pc.

Yes data protection has stopped some details being readily available now.

The messaging system can be glitchy especially on the limited functions of the eBay app.  If the message is successfully sent,  you will see atop your eBay page the instruction......    message sent successfully.

There seems to be few / no problems using a browser,  Chrome and Firefox both eBay friendly,  do not use Internet Explorer.
