buyer wants to make an offer

Hi, I've listed an item.  When setting up the  listing I added a minimum price that i'd accept offers above, however, the 'make an offer' option doesn't seem to be showing on the active listing.  Someone has messaged me and he want's to make an offer, but can't see where he's able to do so.   It may well be me not understanding something, however, any answers would be really appreciated.    Many thanks Soo10

Once you have a bid then the best offer disappears

It would not be fair or right to accept an  offer when there are bids

You leave it too auction and tell the member making the offer to bid like anyone else

Thanks so much for that, well, I've learnt something new. That does make sense. I've just messaged the buyer after getting your response and he's ok with that.
Really appreciate you responding.....that's the second time this week you've come to my rescue 🙂
