buyer paid but did not collect item

Hi there

I sold a cross-trainer on eBay with an instruction that the item was for 'collection only'.

A buyer purchased the cross-trainer, paid but has not yet messaged me to arrange collection.

I have tried to contact the buyer via eBay's messaging app - but there is an error everytime i send a message so effectively cannot contact the buyer. And I can't seem to find any help from eBay.

Does anybody have any advice to share?

If they don't contact you in the next couple of days you can cancel the transaction.   Go to the dropdown arrow next to the item on your sold page > Cancel order > Something wrong with buyer's address, which is the nearest one to this situation as it's possible they are too far away to collect.    The refund will be issued automatically.
