HELP! Hello all I'm hoping someone can help me. Someone has won an auction of mine but I've just received a rather rude message from her mother saying her daughter bid on it but can't pay and told me to cancel it. It's over £60 in money and I'm only selling personal possessions because of my current circumstances meaning it's "needs must". What I want to know is can I offer the item ( a white gold ring) to the next lowest bidder or do I have to re-list and hope for the best? Any help greatly appreciated as ebay are holding my funds for 30 days as it is so I need to sort this ASAP!
Ask the Account Holder not the Mother to send you a Cancellation Request from the Actions Drop Down menu. You can Accept or Decline. If you Accept your Ebay Fees will be Credited back to your Seller Account and you can then Relist.
You can cancel now as Buyer Requested Cancellatoin or wait 5 days and cancel as unpaid where buyer will get a mark against their account.
You must do one or the other before offering second chance.
