Can I end a buy it now or best offer item if I get an offer I want to accept?

Buyer has to make an offer through listing, you accept & listing ends.

If you do an off ebay deal, you & buyer may be suspended, ebay are cracking down on this, you can't exchange contact details until item is sold.
