buy it now fees

If I post an item as 'Buy it now' without auction, I believe I am charged 50p if it sells. Is that correct? Is it still free to list? I think it is - but just checking. I know you get charged 50p on top of other fees if you combine it with auction. If it doens't sell, or if I eventually withdraw it, do I still get charged 50p? Can you withdraw it at any time or do you have to set a time?

I've been selling auction listings for a while - but I'm hoping sell a few books - nothing of any real value - and I guess 'buy it now' would be a better option.

Thanks in advance for any help.

No!

As a private seller If you list as auction or BIN, then no listing fee,

you pay FVF of 12.8% + 30p.

If you add BIN to auction, this costs 50p, as soon as bid is placed, BIN is no longer available.

no, that isn't correct,

you are charged 50p if you add a buy it now to an auction style lising and you pay this fee even if the item doesn't sell,

if you list as a basic fixed price you are only charged the final value fee,

you can cancel a fixed price listing at any time without incurring any fees.
