Is there anything that can be done to stop some sellers listing best offer. On 2 recent occasions I have put best offer on items around £100. Last one was £92.39 or best offer. So I started best offer £82 - no response so expired; 2nd offer £89 - no response expired; 3rd offer £91.39 - no response expired. Now I bought the item because I wanted it BUT why do they say best offer? I have sold using best offer and I put minimum offer i would accept - surely this should be necessary when listing and should the rules allow best offer not to be accepted when the offer is only £1 less than a £92.39 item?
confused eBayer!!
ebay are adding best offer without the sellers knowledge
but even if the seller had added it themselves, replying to an offer isn't compulsory
sellers can just ignore all offers if they want to!
