below standard goods but no help from ebay

i recently bought an item which broke the first time i used it 4 weeks after i received it, i contacted the seller straight away and recieved no reply so 2 weeks later i messaged them again, they then answered asking me to send photos which i did.  2 days later a message asking when it happened which i had already told them ! the next day they messaged me offering me a replacement to which i said no thank you i would like a refund. After this they didnt answer me again, so i requested a retun so that i could ask ebay to step in and help. the seller then declined my return and that then meant that i couldnt ask ebay to step in and help. On top of that the transaction now appears to be invalid so i cant even leave them feedback !! does anyone know of anything else i can do please ?

Youn let the seller fob you off here with asking for photos and asking you to accept a replacement,  all these messages and requests are totally unnecessary but took you well over  eBay's 30 day timeline to claim for a full refund under their 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy.

 

A case opened within this timeline for item not as described,  would have guaranteed you a full refund.
