be aware ebay are not letting me close my account if you try to leave they are making it impossibe ,

You cannot close the account until the time limit for any buyer to open a refund case has pased.  I believe it is six months from the last transaction.

Nothing will happen in that time unless they do open a case.  It will just be dormant so why then might it matter?
