I cannot understand eBay, I really dont!

yesterday a potential purchaser was messaging as they do asking about a product, he asked if it was possible to pick the item up, we replied with yes, he asked for the address and with that we sent him an offer directly in the email reply, (new send offer button in the messenger) he purchased the item, he paid for the item, within the hour he had collected the item!!    seven hours later eBay banned us for telling that person our address!!!!!!!! we are a business seller ebay tell every customer our business name, our phone number, our address and VAT number to every single person who cares to look at our listings but we get banned for doing the same!!! they go the sale we got the sale, paypal got the payment!! the customer came away with the part he required much faster!  all win win win! but no BOOM eBay ban us!!

As of September 2017 ebay updated there picture policy,and as a result,

No, adding additional text, artwork or other marketing materials to your product pictures is not allowed as outlined in our picture policy. This applies to a seller’s logo irrespective of its size in the picture.

As for NOT messaging contact details,your contact details are already displayed and a buyer only has to use your phone number!!

Yes I tried to tell eBay that, they display our contact details already, and we managed to get the sale it went through ebay seconds after messaging him, paid for through paypal and collected within the hour, that purchaser needed the item fast so we helped him, ebay got the sale for us.

You have not sold anything on eBay since 10/2 & nothing by best offer !!

Until a buyer has purchased through eBay using the Buy Now or they.you accept a best offer via eBay systems then you have not sold through eBay.....they may have purchased/paid BUT NOT THROUGH EBAY !!!

Until you sell through eBay YOU CANNOT EXCHANGE CONTACT DETAILS

Doing what you have it appears you have sold outside eBay.....hence the restriction

If this is not a first offence beware.....next time could be a l;ife ban

not sold anything? we have 16 sales from over night to pack? where are you getting that info from lol, even the purchaser that led to this ban, here is the item number take a look for yourself 131556792620 then come back and revise your reply.

Sorry that should simply have said you have not sold the item by Best Offer.....you cannot send contact details through the link you stated as at that point no purchase has been made .....it appears you declined the offer they made on 9/2 & they paid the Buy Now price on 12/2 .....there should have been no info exchanged until after they made that purchase

You are not even allowed to tell buyers where to look on your advert for your contact details
