This is the message on my payments page. I never changed Bank accounts, neither opened new Bank account. What does that mean please?

I registered a long time ago for Managed Payments system & had no problems so far. I suspect this is due to a substantial price (3700 US) & the item has not been despatched yet. Although the message from ebay is very misleading: "because your new bank account is pending verification". Thank you anyway

eBay need you to provide the bank account you wish your payouts to go into ,  under their new Managed Payments systerm.

This may be different to the one you have already registered with eBay.

So,  if you have received a registration to enrol into MP then follow the guidelines to provide a current or business account to eBay,  and there is a further verification process to complete.  This may be the receiving of   2 micro payments ,  a code,   or providing some further documentation.

I have come back to this,  to make sure that you did receive this message through eBay Messages?  That it also addressed you by your full name not just your username ID.  If it did not click on no links ,  but contact eBay Customer Services ask if they sent this message,  and do they require further information.

Friday is eBay's Maintenance day and many things go awry. Many have received the same message, so it could just be a glitch and the notification may well disappear later in the day. If it does not contact eBay Customer Services, and ask what further information they require here.

Thank you & yes I found a message from ebay regarding this sale though never before the payout was dependent on whether the item has been dispatched or not. It possibly depends on the sale price. If so (this is logical) - this should be clearly explained somewhere by someone in Help pages. Than you again.

It may well be fully explained under the small print of their Managed
Payment policy, however, many are receiving this notification , so it
does look like a Friday early morning Maintenance day glitch.

Hopefully, it will dispapear later in the day.
