Winning bidder has cancelled.

Hi

Ive just had a winning bidder on one of my items cancel the bid they won yesterday.

I would like to offer the item to the next highest bidder.

Can someone walk me through how to do this?  Ive tried to cancel the bid but it says I have to wait/wont let me,

Its very frustrating as its not my fault.

You need to deal with the original transaction first. If you've agreed to cancel go to More Actions, far right of the item on your sold list > Cancel order > Buyer asked to cancel. The buyer needs to agree to that for it to work.

If not or if you're worried the buyer may not accept the cancellation (if they refuse it for some reason you'll get a defect and pay the selling fee) complete an Unpaid Item case, starting after 2 complete days and closing after another 4.  That's also done via More Actions, far right of item.

After either one is finished go to More Actions again and use the Second Chance Offer link to offer to the underbidder.

Thanks! I managed to cancel it. Just tried to do a second chance offer to the next bidder and it’s saying I’ve reached my listing limit (only allowed 18 atm because I’m new). I’m not trying to relist it so now I’m hopelessly confused. Actually finding this all a bit stressful now!!
