Winning A Bid

My son had the winning bid on a smartphone earlier this afternoon. He contacted the seller and offered to pay by debit card. The seller came back to him some minutes later and said that he wasn`t prepared to sell the phone to my son as he had zero feedback. Can a seller do this?

Had your Son Set Up his Account correctly and logged his Debit Card with Ebay? If your Son was trying to make an Off Site Deal the Seller has every right  to Close down the Sale.  The Seller would be putting his Account at risk.
