I have a piece of jewellery for sale at £55 but as I was going on holiday and couldn't put my account on hold I upped the price to £550 and added a message that I was on holiday and would reduce this price by 90% on my return. Ebay delisted the item while I was away (for me to manually relist, no sinister reason, it just came to the end of its listing time) and I received this email "I want to make Second Chance Offer of £1,000.00 including shipping. Please let me know if you are interested in my offer,as I'm sending this as a gift item to a special person. Kindly get back to me with with your details." Is this some kind of con or are they completely stupid? I replied that I would relist it and they could have it for £55 as that was all I wanted for it.
it's a con,
just put the ID on your blocked list and ignore them
