I'm new on ebay, this is my second month, so I'm still limited to ten listings. My first month was blighted by con artists (usually claiming to be from Hungary) and one bozo who won an auction for one of my listings but never paid, but it was still counted as a sale...so I lost another listing. 3 of my ten listings last month wasn't a sale but was still counted as 3 of my listings for the month. This month I'm worried as I received 3 bids in only a few seconds for 3 different listings, I'm paranoid, I think rightly so, that these are time wasting bids that will never happen, as well. I've since found out that anyone can set up a fake account without having to give any bank or personal details and bid on peoples listings auctions, with no intention of paying. How can this be allowed, it's ruining ebay sellers experience.
on day 5 you cancel the transaction as buyers did not pay and that gives them a strike - two of those and they woun't be able to buy for a year as sellers should have their blocks set to stop members with 2 or more strikes buying.
Oh and the time waster who wouldn't pay for something the won on one of my auctions was an established ebayer...and I wasn't even allowed to post a negative feedback for them. As I said....NO PROTECTION FOR EBAY SELLERS.
