Why cant I leave feedback for a seller that simply cancelled my order?

Hi - this is the first time ive used this facility, but I feel so angry about a recent transaction that I thought Id see if anyone could help.  I recently won something, only to discover a minute after the end of the auction that the transaction had been cancelled.  Im not able to leave negative feedback - I want to because clearly the seller wasnt happy with the final sale price.  Is there any way I can leave feedback?
