Although I would normally sell to some countries abroad I would take a judgment as to whether they have a good postal system and infrastructure.
I would certainly block sales to any remote country or "high risk" areas. I would not sell under anycircumstances to countries where I do not understand the script that they write in [China, Japan, Russia for example] or countries "at war" even if it is permitted to sell to them.
Prejudice - possibly? Or prudence?

To go further: I would certainly not restrict sales to UK!
As I say I have "prejudices" against "foreign" countries where I know not what may happen
you are registered in the UK
sellers don't tend to exclude the UK
Your account is registered in the UK.
What country are you in?
You're in the UK according to your profile, so I can only assume you're on one of the islands or highlands.
Some sellers use couriers who surcharge for purchases to highlands and islands so they just find it simpler to not sell to people from there rather than set their postage rules properly.
