My opinion is that eBay are overcharging on their fees!

you are a private seller on managed payments so you you are now paying less than you were before
when you were paid through paypal you paid 10% to ebay and 2.9% plus 30p to paypal
you now pay 12.8% plus 30p just to ebay
so a reduction of 0.1%
