Why The Difference Between Agreed Payment & That Shown At Checkout?

I have offered to pay 2.62 euros for two cards, the seller hasaccepted.

However, at checkout the amount to pay is shown as 3.14 euros. This is without postage, so why is there a difference?

If you are Buying from outside the UK you will be charged 20% VAT.

Dear Ruby, Thank you for your answer, it confirmed what I thought. I just wish ebay would calculate all charges and show them clearly before reaching the total to be paid. Once again thank you.
