Maybe I'm really dumb, but I can't find any links that lead from my ebay home-page to my ebay sign-in history. I need to see my sign-in history as ebay keeps sending me
"New sign-in activity on your eBay account" messages.
I got one this morning:
"Approximate location
Bromley, Greater London, United Kingdom
(may not match your exact location)"
When I first started getting these, Jan – Feb time, I kept changing my password. Then I noticed they seemed to follow a Windows or Firefox update, so I figured it was about cookies disappearing or system / browser info changing. They all say I logged in from some London borough, which I am nowhere near. But this morning I have not had a recent update install, but the email arrived within seconds of my real log-in, so I am concluding ebay is reporting my own log-ins to me. But I just want to be able to check, e.g. that there is only one log-in and it is the one I just did myself.
I saw in another (old) thread that an ebay user had checked his own sign-in history, so it must be possible, but where is the link? Presumably from somewhere on my home-page, but where?
BTW it is very unfortunate that the ebay help system channels all enquires into a limited set of narrowly defined subjects, and navigating ebay is not one of them!
TIA for any advice!
If you want to check your sign ins go to
My ebay>Account>sign in and security>sign in activity
Pixiesen2012 has given the reason why this happens, looking at my activity it hasn't been correct for 12 months when i changed isp.
it's an ebay glitch, you don't need to trace your sign in history,
the 'bots' are picking up the server used and marking it as a different location to you.
