What is eBay VeRO team.

Saw a seller with cd’s just now where listing says ‘sorted with eBay VeRO team’ Who are they, do they even exist?

This may be where a seller is [illicitly] making look-alike copies of the CDs. It is highly unlikely that any are not copyright and thus what he says about having cleared it with the eBay VeRO team is likely to be - at best -  a misunderstanding or - at worst - "untrue".

VERO is eBay's registered rights owners program.

Often, when you see a disclaimer like this on a listing, it means the seller is bluffing to try and avoid removals for copyright infringements.

There will bew a team within eBay who deal with VeRO cases however I doubt they would "sort" anything & if a rights owner complained the chances are goods would be removed

It is the owner of Copyright or Trademark who can complain to ebay to get items removed. Ebay Staff cannot over rule them so therefore nothing can be sorted "by the team".
